Great news from Africa! Ringing Cedars and Kin Domain community had sent a photo report:

Our first Space of Love Gathering in South Africa, was held at the Blue Hippo in Greyton, and what a truly magical weekend. Words can hardly express the magic felt during this time. It felt like a lifetime of real-ness.. beyond ego, beyond separation and difference, and toward something bigger than us..

We are planning on installing a back-to-grid system ($500) + solar panel ($700 for 80W all-included package at Canadian Tire) + LED lights (the most efficient and the longest lifespan lights) + wind turbine (estimated $10'000 for 5kW).

The Anastasia Foundation is announcing the first International Ringing Cedars Festival, which will take place in Moscow on March 27, 2010 from 10am to 9pm at the CSRA Football Hall which can hold 4000 people.
The Festival program:

   2. Presentations, Discussions, Round Table Meetings
   3. Trade Fair
   4. Folk Art Exhibits
   5. Folk Games and Rites, Songs, Round-Dances

Dear friends, it is most delightful to see more and more people interested in the subjects described in the Ringing Cedars series. In this new era we are entering the world of consciousness and awareness of the our nature. We've been told that we are evil, sick and dangerous creatures and this is simply not true.

Many families already started proving that Man is a creation of beauty and is a true child of nature. We are now becoming co-creators and the way we communicate, the way we think changes.

After an exhausting planning process, during which the initiative was twice rejected by local planning authorities, a group of families building a 74 acre ecovillage in Wales won £350,000 (over half a million US dollars) in grant money from the UK government last week.

Call for entries Students will create videos to inspire a greener Toronto

Toronto youth with a passion for the environment are encouraged to enter the GreenSceneZ Toronto Youth Video Challenge and win the chance to turn their environmental message into a 30-second video that will inspire Torontonians to live green.

From its extraction through sale, use and disposal, all the stuff in our lives affects communities at home and abroad, yet most of this is hidden from view. The Story of Stuff is a 20-minute, fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns. The Story of Stuff exposes the connections between a huge number of environmental and social issues, and calls us together to create a more sustainable and just world. It'll teach you something, it'll make you laugh, and it just may change the way you look at all the stuff in your life forever.

Who are we? - This fundamental question is rarely raised but the answer to it is in the basis of every ideology, of every system and doctrine. The answer to this question is also in the basis of education strategies. Do we treat our children as Gods capable of creation and co-creation or do we treat them as dumbed down version of adults?
