Renovation

Hello SacredArchitect!
It's really great to have you here. About a year ago I have searched for an architect or designers to help me design and build a house from natural materials, like an earthship here in Ontario. And it turned out to be not an easy task.

There are not many people familiar with and enthusiastic about such buildings here. We ended up buying an existing house and are planning renovating it to make it more nature and people friendly. Do you also help with renovations of existing buildings or have any tipsfor this? Surely, it is much better to start from scratch and build a house to your own dream. However, I like to consider renovating an existing house like "recycling" it and would be happy to hear your opinion on this.
