Message from the Drum Circle with Tom Wolf. Tom Wolf is the first to build an Earthship in Ontario (the other person I know of is Pat Potter)!
Hello all,
Some of "our tribe" are having a special orientation at Whole Village (http://www.wholevillage.org) and the idea was born that we'll do the drumming there, so no one has to miss out. If you're curious about Whole Village and would like to participate in the orientation, please contact Bree at bree@waterforworldpeace.com or Denis Bowman at studio@denisbowmanarchitect.ca.
We'll have the pot luck around 5 pm and the drumming will start around 7 pm.
Address of Whole Village:
20725 Shaws Creek Road
Caledon, L7B 1L7
phone number 519 941 1099Hope to see you all there! Happy Holidays and a smashing 2010!

and other strawbale buildings. It's also close to the Whole Village, http://www.wholevillage.org , who have a number of alternative projects in the works. There are also a number of "Wwoof" hosts in the area http://planetfriendly.net/wwoof.html many of whom are involved in natural construction, solar & wind power, organic gardening, etc. Check out their workshops, volunteer/learning opportunities and other activities. Or plan a tour for your group, organization or school class.
